Pietro Fiorentini receives special mention at Enterprise Arete Prize

The award ceremony of the Enterprise Arete Prize took place on Tuesday, October 17th 2017. The award is promoted by GEA management consultancy and Harvard Business Review Italia, the Italian edition of the most widely read management magazine worldwide.

The Enterprise Arete Prize was set up to promote the factors for success of our country’s entrepreneurial tradition, by celebrating the best company histories, strongly marked by innovation, internationalisation, entrepreneurial élan, job creation, nurturing talent, fostering effective leadership policies and a commitment towards sustainability.

The Jury has awarded Pietro Fiorentini with the “special mention” in the “internationalisation” category, “for the impulse to internationalisation – thanks to strategic acquisitions in France, Hungary, Poland and China and the branches set up in the United States, Portugal, Algeria, Tunisia and Saudi Arabia – and for process innovation, which in recent years entailed company reorganisation according to Lean Management principles, introducing the Charter of Values, setting up a team of people working on continuous improvement (Kaizen Promotion Office) and committing the Research&Development division to the design and development of new products with Lean Product Development (LDP) and Speed Design Review (SDR) initiatives.”
