The second edition of C-Lean Energy Academy has started

06 October 2022  -  Corporate

On the 26th of September 2022, the second edition of the C-Lean Energy Academy, the training programme created by Pietro Fiorentini in collaboration with POLIMI Graduate School of Management, the management training school of Politecnico di Milano, officially began.

Aimed at students from engineering and design degree courses, the course will continue until May 2023 with the discussion of their project works on topics related to energy transition, Lean & Agile Management and sustainability. During the C-Lean Energy Academy the students will attend lectures by teachers of MIP, talks by employees of Pietro Fiorentini and round tables attended by experts and top managers from international companies. They will also have the opportunity to confront each other and share ideas on an always active virtual community.

In addition to the three weeks of lectures at the Bovisa Campus, home of the POLIMI Graduate School of Management, the programme also includes company visits, laboratory work and networking activities. During the first week, the participants visited three of the Italian sites of the Pietro Fiorentini Group, the headquarters in Arcugnano (Vicenza) and the Rosate and Rescaldina (Milan) plants, to learn how the Kaizen Teams apply the principles of Lean Management in the production areas.

In the meantime, the twenty-five students of the first edition of the C-Lean Energy Academy have completed their third week of lessons, focused on management methodologies and teamwork, Agile and innovation, personnel development, and wellbeing. They’re now realising the project works they’re going to present during the closing ceremony in December, attended by the top management of Pietro Fiorentini.

With this Corporate Social Responsibility, the Pietro Fiorentini Group aims to create value for the benefit of the communities in which it operates. It’s a further way to offer the future generation the possibility to develop professional skills that will be fundamental. For this reason, we would like to thank again all those who, since the first edition, have contributed their expertise and experience to the students of the C-Lean Energy Academy, in particular the teachers of MIP, the employees of Pietro Fiorentini and all the external guests.
