All technical and economic decisions in the Oil Industry depend on an understanding of the Fluid Properties and the Geochemical Information that Pietro Fiorentini S.p.A. can now deliver, allows Oil Companies to optimize field development programs and production allocation.
Petroleum Geochemistry is still a relatively young science with a rapidly developing technology and in many countries the latest Technology in Geochemical Fingerprinting is now routinely applied for Production Allocation and Assessing Reservoir Architecture.
Pietro Fiorentini is pleasure to announce a new Geochemical Service, directed and managed by Doct. Peter Nederlof and Doct. Andrew Murray, two of the major world-renewed scientists in geochemistry studies and modeling. With the collaboration of the Research, Development Analytical Methods & Characterization Oils Group, of the Scientist Pole of Florence University coordinated by Prof. Annalisa Romani, have developed a new “innovative and unique” product line aimed at providing Oil Companies with a detailed and accurate understanding of the fluid compositions in their fields.
We can now offer a Technical Service to predict H2S and CO2 concentrations in gas from traces of residual condensate in (side wall) core. This service provides Oil Companies with a detailed and accurate understanding of the fluid compositions in gas fields with compositional gradients.
We are also already in progress, to develop a second line of Technical Service, “ Mapping of Fluid Properties in Shale Oil accumulation”
