Thanks to the work of the Weirton branch in West Virginia, Pietro Fiorentini is officially one of the voting members of the ANSI B109 committee.
The ANSI B109 committee, overseen by the American Gas Association, is responsible for establishing the standards and technical requirements that regulators and meters must meet in the United States. The working group consists of 21 members equally distributed among representatives of the manufacturers, users and public interest groups.
Representing Pietro Fiorentini will be Max Ambrosi, former Chief Commercial and Financial Officer of the US subsidiary and now Portfolio Leader Downstream and Retail.

AGA, American Gas Association, represents over 200 companies that distribute natural gas in the United States, serving 95% of users in residential, commercial and industrial use. Founded in 1918, it chairs the committees that set standards and technical requirements for regulators and meters to protect the environment and user safety.
Pietro Fiorentini USA has been active in West Virginia since 2013. The first owned factory was opened in Weirton in 2019 with the goal of expanding the Company's production capacity in the United States. The plant occupies 3,000 square meters and is located on an area of 100,000 square meters already prepared for further expansion.
